All five episodes were released together on Hulu on October 11, 2023. Robert De Niro portrays Vincent, who lives in New York and is a good friend of Manuel. Vincent is effectively the narrator of the series. Episode 1 introduces Manuel and the fact that his everyday life will not function properly without Celsa’s presence in it. After her death, Manuel is forced to recognize the realities of his life and finds a solution in a young woman from Paraguay. However, there is one problem. She doesn’t want to work for him.
