‘The Seeding’ Director On The Madness Of The Desert

Director Barnaby Clay’s feature film debut The Seeding is a nightmarish trip into the desert that keeps you guessing until its final frames. It’s dizzying, intoxicating, and downright bizarre. So of course, I ate it right up.

In The Seeding, “A hiker lost in the desert takes refuge with a woman living alone, and soon discovers that she might not be there willingly.”

We spoke with Clay to discuss Kate Lyn Sheil, the magic of the desert, and diving into this weird story.
