FBI Season 7 Episode 2 spoilers feature all the upcoming details we know about the show that started a beloved franchise.

FBI Season 7 Episode 2 Spoilers

FBI fans aren’t strangers to bidding goodbye to a beloved team member. Especially when it’s a part of Scola.

Since FBI Season 6, viewers have known that we would see the last of cast member Katherine Renee Kane. She played the role of Special Agent Tiffany Wallace for four seasons.

Wallace replaced former Intelligence Analyst Kristen Chazal as Agent Stuart Scola’s partner in FBI Season 3.

Kane decided to leave the successful series to pursue other creative opportunities. But while we’ll miss the dynamic of the Tiff-Scola partnership, new blood is always welcome.

Fans said their final goodbyes to Tiffany with the FBI Season 7 premiere. And in FBI Season 7 Episode 2, we’ll meet the newest family member.

The Team Gets a New Member

The vacancy left by Wallace’s exit leaves room for someone new. Joining the cast for the seventh season will be Lisette Olivera (National Treasure).

Olivera will be a BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) federal agent used to working behind the desk. Syd’s unique skills will help her adjust to field work as Scola’s new partner.

Scola Recovers While Mourning Another Lost Partner

In the seven seasons of the FBI series, we’ve seen an average number of agent turnovers as people move on to different careers.

While it’s great for TV viewers who like a rotating cast of new faces, it’s probably not so awesome for John Boyd’s character, Stuart Scola.

Being an FBI agent has its challenges on any normal day. Trying to do dangerous tasks while working with a stranger complicates matters further. It can take time for a new member to find their footing in the team dynamic.

And it takes time to build trust with a new partner. Scola has more experience than the other team members in having to adjust to working with someone new.

He’s lost one partner already. Now he’s lost his second and onto his third.

But should fans start getting attached to the newcomer?

In an interview with Boyd, he said his character will spend this season figuring out who he is as an agent and who is right — and wrong — for him as a partner.

Does that hint that we’ll see Scola as a free agent for a bit before he settles down with a new partner? And if so, how does that affect Olivera’s character?

Maggie Clashes with the New Agent

Bringing a new team member into the fold can be tricky, especially in a team dynamic that has been together for years.

Maggie and OA have been partners for all seven seasons, with a connection that often hints at deeper undisclosed feelings. We saw Maggie briefly exit FBI in the fourth season, and fans feared it was for good.

In real life, she was on maternity leave, but in the show, she was recovering from serin gas exposure. Maggie was given the motherhood plot in FBI Season 6. She became the guardian of her friend’s daughter after a fatal accident.

Maggie’s new role as mother started to affect her work performance last season, as she became more cautious about getting injured.

That theme has continued into FBI Season 7. In FBI Season 7 Episode 2, the case will involve missing children, which brings up personal feelings for Maggie. Feelings that could cause tension between her and the newcomer.

As the team investigates a murdered suburban couple, they have to unravel the clues to solve the mystery of their suspect.

All evidence says it’s the previous homeowner, who’s now serving a 10-year sentence in a federal prison cell. While Maggie wants to stick to business and solve the case, Syd might have a more relaxed demeanor due to her greenness.

We could see some ruffled feathers as Maggie adjusts to a team without the more experienced Tiff. It’s been a while since the team has had a newbie, so we expect to see sparks.

OA Reunites With an Old Service Member

OA fans will enjoy the rare opportunity to learn more about his past as he meets up with a former military teammate.

Since we’re back to a full-format season, there’s enough room to explore more of the characters’ personal lives along with the team cases. It’ll be exciting to delve deeper into his past.

We don’t know any other details about the reunion and how it will affect OA. Be sure you’re watching FBI Season 7 Episode 2 to see this new OA development.

FBI Season 7 Episode 2 Spoilers

As FBI moves full steam into its seventh season, fans can expect the same intriguing cases while getting more personal and professional lives of our favorite FBI agents.

Fans may feel saddened at saying goodbye to a long-term FBI agent, but it’s always exciting to get a new agent to psychoanalyze. However, viewers should proceed with caution when developing any permanent connection with the newcomer.

We’ve heard from John Boyd — FBI agent Stuart Scola — that this season will be a personal journey for him as he adjusts to finding a new permanent partner.

So, is it possible that Lisette Olivera — Agent Syd — will only be a temporary cast member before Scola finds someone permanent to become his trusted partner? Or will Scola take a while before he warms up to anyone else after two failed pair-ups?
