This purple high-fiber breakfast smoothie is one of my long-standing favorites, and for good reason. It’s simple, fast, naturally energizing, and one of the easiest ways to dramatically increase your daily fiber intake.

Fiber plays a major role in digestion, blood sugar balance, gut health, and maintaining a healthy weight, yet most people still fall far short of what their bodies need. While general guidelines recommend about 25 grams per day for women and 38 grams for men, many people only get 10–15 grams (if that!).

This smoothie delivers a powerful fiber boost in a form that actually tastes great. Thanks to blueberries, chia seeds, and psyllium husk, it contains roughly 28 grams of fiber in one glass — before you’ve even eaten lunch.

This high-fiber breakfast is thick, creamy, and deeply satisfying, with the perfect balance of protein, healthy fats, and slow-digesting carbs to keep you full and focused all morning. I love having this within an hour of waking, alongside my usual supplements, and I’m set until lunchtime.
