Every year, right around late October, I hit the same wall. The weather in New York is finally perfect, I’ve been able to wear my favorite boots more than once, yet I can feel winter coming for the dream closet I’ve created. Fall is the best season for getting dressed, and it always feels like the shortest. The clock is seriously ticking right now!
So rather than mourn it, I’m making the most of the weeks I have left. Any time I want to fill up my cart fast, Shopbop makes it easy. I thought I would just go with my 30 favorite pieces for this story but ended up with a cart of 50+ items that I think make for a great fall wardrobe. These are the pieces I actually wear right now: a cropped trench, a few great knits, suede and corduroy pants, and more boots than I probably need.
