The Slip Skirt Trend Is the Most Elegant of Them All

Whist recent seasons have been dominated by micro minis, asymmetrical pleats and billowy cotton skirts, my allegiances will forever stand with the classic slip skirt. With a formidable skill for imparting a sophisticated edge, the relaxed draping style balances nonchalance-cool with supreme elegance every single time. 

As move deeper into the thick of winter I’ve been assessing my wardrobe, evaluating the items that no longer resonate and recognising which styles can truly stand the test of time. This recent deep-dive led me to realise that off all my skirting styes, it’s the classic slip skirt that continues to finesse my outfit with more charm and elegance than any of its neighbours.
