We’re Seeing the Rise of Emerald Green This Season

It’s preppy and collegiate. It’s likely to be found in estate jewelry collections and on tennis courts alike. It’s emerald green: the specific color taking over on the Upper East Side in New York. The shade is suddenly everywhere uptown in Manhattan, and I first noticed it in sports attire, including preppy sweatshirts, baseball caps, and tennis looks from brands including Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, and Sporty & Rich that likely took inspiration for the color from the courts themselves.

I then started to see the shade in jewelry. Emeralds, of course, are the star of some pieces such as tennis bracelets, cigar band rings, and cocktail earrings.
