Among many other titles, Peacock kicks off the month with the Jason Statham and Jessica Alba-starrer Mechanic: Resurrection. Directed by Dennis Gansel, the film centers on Arthur Bishop, a former assassin living a peaceful life after faking his own death. However, when his girlfriend is kidnapped, he is forced back into a world of violence and has to complete three near-impossible assassination contracts.
The film currently has a 30% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
