Why Grey’s Anatomy Fans Think Miranda & Benson Could Leave After Teddy & Owen

The thought of saying goodbye to beloved characters is always a tough pill to swallow. However, the shocking developments in Teddy and Owen’s storyline have left viewers wondering if Grey’s Anatomy is about to lose another two of its iconic figures. Fans are now speculating about the potential departures of Miranda Bailey and Benson Kwan from the show.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 could have two major character exits
Fans are of the opinion that Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 might bid adieu to two of its beloved characters.
Grey’s Anatomy fans are worried about Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Dr. Benson Kwan (Harry Shum Jr.) in the latest episode of Season 22. The FDA investigation cliffhanger has put their careers at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital on the line.
Miranda Bailey can be seen attempting to shield Dr. Benson Kwana as the FDA investigation unfolds. However, she also gives him a piece of her mind for going rogue with the experimental hydrogel treatment on Quinn Durston.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ben Warren (Jason Winston George) and Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) grew suspicious about Quinn Durston’s sudden turnaround. Miranda’s insistence that he didn’t get the experimental treatment isn’t quite convincing them.
However, Durston’s condition takes a turn for the worse, with a pulmonary embolism diagnosis. Subsequently, his son spills the beans to Ben and Dr. Dani Spencer (Jade Pettyjohn) that his dad did, in fact, get the experimental treatment. When Ben confronts Miranda about it, she firmly tells him, “I’m not turning Kwan in”.
Ben warns Miranda that she could face serious consequences, including fines or losing her medical license. However, she talks him into keeping quiet. But intern Dani Spencer doesn’t follow suit. She reports the incident to the chief, Dr. Richard Webber, putting Miranda’s career at risk.
The episode ends on a heart-stopping cliffhanger with Dr. Webber dropping a bombshell that leaves everyone hanging. “The institutional review board will want every detail,” He says, and then the screen fades to black. “They’re launching an investigation.”
