While it has been confirmed that the project is under work, no official release date has been announced to date. Nevertheless, Hollywood Reporter has claimed that renowned American actress and playwright Ana Nogueira is set to pen the screenplay for the movie. The untitled film will be part of the first slate of James Gunn‘s plans to reboot the DC on-screen universe. Reportedly, the said phase is scheduled to kick off in July 2025 with the Gunn-directed Superman.

This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.

So far, only Ana Nogueira has been attached to the unnamed project, with the producers now searching for a director.
