Slasher is a horror anthology series currently streaming on Shudder. The first season premiered in the US on Chiller on March 4, 2016. Seasons 2 and 3 came out on Netflix before the series shifted to Shudder. Each season has a separate subtitle and revolves around a different masked murderer. As of April 2024, Shudder hasn’t greenlit Slasher for the sixth season. While some outlets report that the fifth season was the last chapter of the series, this doesn’t seem to be the case. There is much speculation about the sixth season on social media and season. So, if Slasher has received a positive audience response for its fifth season, there will likely be another chapter.

As an anthology series, Slasher introduces a new plot and set of characters every season. However, some actors have returned to portray different characters throughout the show, and they can potentially come back for the prospective season 6. This group includes Patrick Garrow, Dean McDermott, Christopher Jacot, Joanne Vannicola, Paula Brancati, and Jefferson Brown.
