A Pregnant Woman’s Cravings Turn Monstrous in ‘Son of Sara’
EXCLUSIVE: Pregnancy cravings are one thing. Devouring raw meat straight from the refrigerator is another entirely.
Ahead of its release later this month, Dread Central is exclusively debuting a grisly new clip from Houston Bone‘s pregnancy nightmare Son of Sara, and it’s exactly the kind of unsettling body horror tease you’d expect from the film.
In the scene, a woman quietly rummages through a refrigerator before giving in to an increasingly disturbing hunger, tearing into raw meat with alarming ferocity.
The exclusive clip arrives ahead of the VOD and Digital release on July 31.
Directed by Houston Bone, Son of Sara stars Chloe Van Landschoot (From, Lune), Tymika Tafari (Settle Down), Garrett Hnatiuk (Father’s Day), and Jane Moffat (Fahrenheit 451).

The film had its world premiere at Toronto’s Blood in the Snow Film Festival in November 2025, where Chloe Van Landschoot took home the award for Best Lead Performance in a Feature Film.
