Variety reminds us, “A day-and-date horror release has become an annual affair for Universal. This will mark the third time that the studio has set a hybrid debut for a Blumhouse production in October. Previously, both Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (2022) landed on Peacock the same day that they opened in theaters.”
“Five Nights at Freddy’s,” directed by Emma Tammi, tells the story of a security guard who encounters a series of terrifying events while on the night shift at a pizza joint. The film features an impressive cast, including Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Matthew Lillard. Additionally, the animatronic designs and technology used in the film are created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
Produced by Jason Blum and Scott Cawthon, the movie is also executive produced by Bea Sequeira, Russell Binder, and Christopher H. Warner. The collaboration between Blumhouse and Striker Entertainment ensures a thrilling experience for audiences.
