‘Saw X’ Reveals Exciting Look at New Logo

The first Twisted Metal trailer isn’t as long as we were hoping for. We are introduced to Anthony Mackie and his fully armored vehicle. Along with his 1990’s picks for tunes. We also get a ver quick look at Sweet Tooth up to no good in the back of his Ice Cream truck. Still not quite enough for us to tell if this is going to be a worthy adaptation.

Anthony Mackie plays the hero of the series and we can’t wait to see the upgrades that he has made to his car. The front machine guns are looking very cool already. So, is the wartorn apocalyptic countryside.

The official synopsis for Twisted Metal goes like this:

TWISTED METAL, a half-hour live-action TV series based on the classic PlayStation game series, is a high-octane action comedy, based on an original take by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and written by Michael Jonathan Smith, about a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck. 

Are you excited about the Twisted Metal series? Well, you don’t have to wait long. The Peacock original series drops on July 27.
