TERROR FILMS RELEASING, THE NINTH HOUSE, and CODE 3 FILMS to produce the revenge horror film, RESTITUTION

Directed by Danny Draven (Patient Seven, Bad CGI Gator), from an original screenplay by Mark Allen (Delirium, Early Grave), “Restitution” marks the first original production from the indie genre distributor since launching in 2016. The script was acquired in 2015 and was one of the initial projects under consideration. The three original TFR productions that eventually launched the label include the supernatural horror films The Chosen and Trace, and the acclaimed horror anthology, Patient Seven starring Michael Ironside, Amy Smart, Doug Jones, Alfie Allen and Grace Van Dien.

RESTITUTION centers around Mia Wagner (Coél Mahal), the sole survivor of a serial killer who brutally murdered her entire family as a child, only to be released years later on technicality. Once the judicial system fails her, Mia takes matters into her own hands, resulting in horrific events.

Rounding out the cast is Chris Gann, James Black, and Jonathan Shores.
.
Autumn Federici, James Black and Jake Helgren produced for The Ninth House, with Terror Films Releasing CEO Joe Dain and COO Jim Klock, producing and overseeing distribution. Philip Snow co-produced. Timothy Bober, Melody Tsai, Anvar Huseynov, and Prashant Mody Executive Produced.

Director Danny Draven shared his thoughts about the making of the film: “Restitution is a story about revenge and the ugly forms it can manifest. When I first read the script, I immediately thought of the quote from Confucius, ‘Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.’ Our characters embark on this journey and the film takes you along for the ride!”

The film premieres globally Friday, October 4, 2024 across multiple platforms including Amazon, Tubi TV, Apple TV, Chilling, Kings of Horror, and many more. A link to the Official trailer on the Kings of Horror YouTube channel is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgmwN0TEqko
