Crew’s Cabin Nursery | Living in Yellow

I don’t know if there is anything sweeter than putting together little nurseries. I recently took on the challenge of creating a nursery for Crew at the cabin and wanted to do a theme that was reflective of the house back in the woods. I landed on a vintage theme with pattern play on plaids, bringing in a variety of textures from his vintage gold crib to his boucle glider and plaid curtains! While we’re not totally done putting it all together, it was “finished enough” to show you the vision of where it’s headed!

Moving to the crib – this vintage gold is so eye-catching and timeless. I currently have these woodland sheets which are so cute, but may swap them out to a solid color to tone things down a little bit.

Because I apparently can’t get enough plaid right now, I chose this Chris Loves Julia X Loloi rug and it’s the perfect rug for the space! I love the neutral colors and plush texture for when he’s crawling all around!

Like any nursery, we needed a place to put all of the chaos. While the chaos isn’t quite there yet [give it a few months] this toy organizer bin will come in clutch for organizing all of his toys, books and all of the things. When I spotted this throw, I knew it had to come into his nursery stat.

Moving on, the place where we’ll spend much of our time rocking little Crew to sleep while playing his Crew’s Tunes playlist. Gosh, that’s a sweet time of day. I love this green recliner. Not only does it look good, but it feels good.

Last but not least, a stop at what will be his changing station [everything looks more aesthetically pleasing without a bunch of diapers and wipes hanging out all over it ;)] I love the little bits of metal decor I was able to find at Wayfair – this airplane and these dog bookends are the perfect additions to top off the space!
