Frosé Recipe | Elizabeth Rider

This Frosé recipe is perfect if you’re looking for a delicious slushy to freshen you up on warm days.

This delicious icy treat is a unique blend of refreshing flavors, perfect for your welcoming spring days and parties! So get ready to create something truly magical that will impress any guest!

Ingredients

  • Dry Rosé: You’ll need 1 bottle of dry rosé. Almost any rosé works, but to avoid losing the wine flavor and making your drink too fruity, dry rosé is a perfect choice.
  • Simple Syrup: Use ¼ cup of simple syrup (honey simple syrup works); adjust the amount to your taste.
  • Frozen Strawberries: Use 2 cups of frozen strawberries. You can freeze your strawberries prior to making this recipe, or you can use store-bought packaged frozen strawberries. If you’re using strawberries right from the fridge, add some ice to the blender.
  • Frozen Watermelon Cubes: I like to have more refreshing flavors in my Frosé, so I use 2 cups of frozen watermelon cubes – it enhances both the flavor and color of this mix. But you can just use more frozen strawberries instead, or any other frozen berries you like.
  • Lime Juice: Add 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice. If you want to offset the tartness of the rosé, then there’s no better way than to balance it with freshly squeezed lime juice.
  • Garnish: Garnish with a slice of strawberry and a sprig of fresh mint for the best-looking homemade icy cocktail!

How to Make Frosé

  1. In a blender, blend your dry rosé, simple syrup, frozen strawberries, frozen watermelon cubes, and lime juice until it’s slushy. Don’t over-blend as the heat of the blender will melt it.
  2. If it doesn’t look like a slushy, add a few ice cubes and combine quickly until the texture is right.
  3. Pour into glasses, garnish with a strawberry slice and a spring of fresh mind, and serve immediately.
