I’m often asked in interviews what my favorite book of all time is, and to be honest, it’s just not possible to pick one. I love many books for different reasons, but if I had to pick a favorite, The Alchemist is for sure at the top of the list.

Santiago’s journey is not just physical, but also spiritual and emotional. He learns to listen to his heart, trust the universe, and follow his intuition.
Through Santiago’s journey, Coelho weaves in several philosophical and spiritual themes, including the concept of the “Personal Legend” (a person’s true purpose in life), the power of the universe to conspire in one’s favor, and the importance of living in the present moment.
