Against The Current’s Chrissy Costanza launches solo project with sultry single ‘7 Minutes In Hell’ with VOILÀ

Against The Current‘s Chrissy Costanza has launched her new solo project with the sultry single ‘7 Minutes In Hell’ – take a listen down below.

The singer has teamed up with LA duo VOILÀ on the new track, which sees Costanza sing: “When you kiss me / I can feel fire within me / Heaven’s got me burnin’ / Yeah, you got me playin’ seven minutes in hell”.

Speaking about the new track, Costanza shared: “‘7 Minutes in Hell’ explores the unsettling reality of how someone else’s Heaven can be your personal Hell. For years, I was bound by others’ expectations, always questioning why I was drawn to what they deemed ‘wrong.’ This song is the awakening after falling from grace, realizing that what they called Hell might actually be my freedom.”

Costanza also announced a co-headline tour with VOILÀ, where the trio will stop by the Manchester Academy, Birmingham’s O2 Institute and The Garage, London. NME caught up with Against The Current back in 2022, where they had teamed up with ‘League Of Legends’ for their track ‘Wildfire’.

“Music and gaming are the two things I love most,” Costanza told NME, explaining the reason why Against The Current were offered opportunities they do was “because we hang out in the scene and do whatever we can to give back. That’s why it’s worked so well for us, because it’s something that’s very genuine. We’re not here just because gaming is the hot new trend.”
