Food, family and football!

With three different NFL games scheduled to take place on Thanksgiving, we took the liberty of rounding up some of the ways that sports fans can watch and stream games during the holiday.

Although Thanksgiving coincides with Thursday Night Football, you won’t be able to watch Thanksgiving games on Prime Video — at least not on the actual holiday. The first-ever Black Friday game (Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets) will stream via Prime Video on Friday, Nov. 24, instead.

How to Watch NFL Games on Thanksgiving

What football teams are playing on Thanksgiving? The Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks.

The NFL’s Thanksgiving trio kicks off Thursday (Nov. 23) with the Packers vs. Lions game at Ford Field in Detroit, airing at 12:30 a.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT on Fox. Jack Harlow is set to perform at halftime.

The Cowboys vs. Commanders game is scheduled to air on Fox at 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT, with Dolly Parton performing during halftime. The game will take place at AT&T Stadium.

Closing out the NFL’s Thanksgiving game day will be San Francisco vs. Seattle airing at 8:20 p.m. ET/5:20 p.m. PT on NBC. Steve Aoki is billed to perform the halftime show at Seattle’s Lumen Field.

The 49ers vs. Seahawks game will also stream live on Peacock Premium Plus (use ExpressVPN to access streaming platforms and certain channels from outside of the U.S.). And you can watch all the Thanksgiving games with a free trial from DirecTV.

Interested in Peacock? The streamer’s Black Friday offer lets you subscribe to the basic plan for $1.99 per month for 12 months, or $19.99 for the annual plan.

Peacock Premium doesn’t include live access to NBC, but you can stream NBC and more on-demand. Peacock Premium Plus lets you stream NBC live, but it’s not on sale.

Whether you plan to watch live or stream on-demand, there are plenty of options to choose from. If you have cable, refer to your channel guide for more game day details. If you don’t have cable, you might be able to access NFL games on NBC, Fox and CBS with an antenna, like this budget-friendly option, which is 29% off at Amazon.

For those who don’t have cable, satellite, or access to TV through Verizon Fios, T-Mobile, AT&T or another provider, platforms like FuboTV, Sling TV, DirecTV, Vidgo, and Hulu + Live TV provide live and on-demand access to cable and local channels, DVR recording, and more for an affordable price and most include a free trial for up to a week.

Fubo is offering one of the best streaming deals for live television, given the price and channels included. With Fubo, you can stream at least 181 channels for $54.99/month (reg. 74.99/month), plus you’ll get a free trial for a week.

Sports lovers can also stream football games on-the-go with NFL+. Plans start at just $6.99/month after a 7-day free trial to watch live and local primetime games on your phone or tablet and you can cancel anytime.
